We have an official due date! I went to the doctor for my first prenatal appointment yesterday morning. After filling out an endless amount of paperwork (you'd think since it's all the same since I filled it out last time, I wouldn't have to do an hour of paperwork, but you'd be wrong) and drinking that yummy orange glucose test drink and hearing about all that Carle Hospital has to offer, in the last minute the nurse finally gave us all our due dates. So we're counting down to January 1st. Adam's pulling for the baby to come early so we can get the tax break, but if we wait until the 1st, we have a chance to be the first baby of the decade in Champaign, which would be kind of cool. We'll just have to wait and see!

Adam's always tells me that I don't put in enough pictures, so here's a picture of what Astronaut looks like this week. Apparently he's about the size of a kidney bean and is sprouting little fingers and toes.
The garden is coming along nicely. We've been working on the fence all week, and we're getting close to finishing. We still have a little bit of staining to do and then we need to nail up the pickets and make the gate, but we're getting there. And a few things are sprouting! I think we have carrots coming up. They look like weeds, but they're in such a nice straight line they must be the carrots instead. And this evening I noticed our first cucumber sprout. So with any luck we'll have some nice veggies later this summer and fall.
