House Updates

Along with the other four updates I thought I'd post some pictures from our perpetual house projects. The big ones this year include adding a retaining wall to one side of the yard.

And replacing the living room ceiling. All we've done so far is the tear out. I was a little surprised to find two steel beams in the ceiling, but in retrospect it was fairly obvious.

We finally put Abby to work the other day washing the van. It's about time we got some free labor out of these kids.

Nora First's

It's been too long since we last posted and update. It seems like we've had a lot going on this summer so I thought I'd make a few summary posts to keep everyone in the loop. Let's start with some updates on Nora, she's had a lot of first's lately.

Here she is learning how to get out of a chair by herself.

Here we caught her playing by herself in the crib.

First time she got to eat some of her birthday tiwnkie.

And finally, Nora's getting pretty good at scooting around but she's also working on crawling. Here's on of her first attempts, it always makes me laugh.
